One of the best parts of my job is that I never know which rabbit holes I will find myself down next. Working with Tim Ryan, Education Manager at Victorian Opera, and the divine Kate Ellis, fellow Arts Education Consultant, on the creation of this education resource, took us all deep down into the realms of the old testament bible, and high into the heavens to stare at the stars. Due to the timing of the season of Richard Mills’ final piece at the helm of Victorian Opera, this resource is non-curriculum aligned, and acts more as an in-depth production program, introducing unusual instruments, and detailing the specifics of each scene within the performance.
