RISING: Shadow Spirit

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Emma Cleine to create the education pack for Kimberley Moulton’s astonishingly curated exhibition ‘Shadow Spirit’ for the 2023 RISING Festival. We aimed to unpack the context and curatorial vision of this exhibition, and present a series of culturally considered classroom activities which enable students and teachers to connect with its' thematic content, whilst developing a solid understanding of the problematic impact of artistic and cultural misappropriation.
