I work with various arts organisations to guide strategic planning around educational sector engagement. This can take the form of meetings with presenters to undertake planning and programming reviews, or consulting with theatre producers wanting to engage more consistently and meaningfully through long-term relationship building within the education sector.
I also provide direction for theatre makers wanting to engage with school audiences, providing insight into opportunities and connections, and as well as guidance into alignment between their product and contemporary P-12 Australian curriculum.
I have had the pleasure of working with Drama Victoria in a number of capacities over the past two years. I have loved travelling across regional Victoria, delivering live drama workshops to primary and secondary school students as part of the fantastic Blended Arts Program. Recording the digital workshops which these students access independently is the closest I’ve ever been to nailing my dream role of hosting Playschool! I was also honoured to be Drama Victoria’s inaugural Arts and Education Partnership Manager, wherein I established a number of new experiences and opportunities for teachers and arts industry specialists to connect and collaborate.
