TROUPE

@

Southern School of Creative Arts

Each week, I direct a select group of teens in a series of drama skill- building sessions (voice, facial expressions, movement), performing from short scripts and creating group-devised works based on improvisation. We learn how to present in front of a live audience, whilst exploring through a variety of performance styles, ensuring students are well-versed in performance terminology and concepts. This curriculum is designed to enable students to grow their performance tool kits from term to term, whilst building confidence through exposure to analytical and evaluative thinking through our attendance at a curated array of live theatrical performances.

Participants will gain a range of life skills, which will deepen confidence when speaking to a crowd or performing on stage.
